Wedding at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida

Wedding at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.

“All This Time” by OneRepublic licensed by Song Freedom
Michelle and Justin’s wedding as literally a dream. We flew down and filmed their rehearsal dinner the night before which gave us the idea of using certain stories from the speeches in their Same Day Edit which happened the next night during their real wedding. When you watch this SDE you have to check out the cake, it was mind blowing. Sylvia Weinstock flew down personally to deliver this magnificent piece of artwork and I had the pleasure of meeting her. Michelle and Justin couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, it had a subtle breeze that made you want to stay their forever. This was our first time at The Breakers in Palm Beach and it exceeded my expectations, this place is a utopia. We also had the pleasure of working with an amazing team of event planners from Zanadu Group based down here in Florida. Cheryl and Dale were amazing to work with and helped me with every detail I needed, top act! Michelle and Kym at The Breakers were just as helpful making sure we knew everything happening at every point. I wish it was like this all the time, wow. My good friend and celebrity photographer Anthony Vazquez shot the stunning photography for this wedding. Anthony had flown directly from WPPI (an international photography convention) in Las Vegas where he as honored with the prestigiuous THE NEXT award, so Michelle and Justin had certainly picked the perfect photographer for their wedding. Michelle and Justin were a very fun couple to work with. You can check out their photographer’s slide show here and also their blog post here. We had the pleasure of shooting a cool concept months earlier where they did an E-Shoot with Anthony Vazquez and had a sick champagne fight. Yep, this is the same couple. Be sure to check out Anthony Vazquez’s blog for Michelle and Justin’s amazing pics as well. You can also folow the story of this bride and groom at The Breakers own blog here. To top it off the live entertainment was off the hook. Marcia Mitchell Band rocked the party all night long, one of the best bands I’ve ever heard.

UPDATE : Honored to have this clip and Michelle and Justin’s story on The Breakers Blog here

Wedding at Pier Sixty in New York | Kristen and John

Wedding at Pier Sixty in New York

Kristen and John got married at Abigail Kirsch Pier Sixty in New York. This Manhattan location is one of my favorite NYC venues and it was our first time here. We usually shoot at Chelsea Piers The Lighthouse which I love too. We started the day with Kristen getting ready at Tribeca Grand Hotel on Avenue of the Americas. What a beautiful room we walked into. Here I met very talented photographer Andre Maier from Andre Maier Photography for the first time. You can check out Andre’s amazing slide show of this wedding here. I immediately hit it off with Andre and saw that he was A-list all the way, definitely the type of inspiration I love to work around. When we went down stairs to leave for the venue, we found Kristen’s ride waiting for her, it was a classic checkered cab. This was no ordinary cab though, this vehicle (rented from Filmcars) has been seen in popular movies like “Punchline”, “When Harry Met Sally”, “Ghostbusters II”, “Home Alone II” “Carlito’s Way”, “54″, “The Last Days of Disco”, “Private Parts”, “Catch Me If You Can”, “Down With Love” and “Almost Famous”.

After we arrived at their wedding venue, we setup for the first look which looked stunning with the water in the background. Afterwards, we stole the groomsmen and ran off to the nearby golf range where we made the guys hit the ball a few times. Soon it was time for the ceremony to begin. Kristen looked stunning walking down that aisle and John was like a deer in the headlights looking at his soon to be wife. The party continued on and we even were blessed with a cameo performance by John’s father and his doo-wop group. They stole the show literally for 15 mins with standing room ovation. What a beautiful experience and honor to be apart of the special day. Sit back and enjoy their wedding highlight reel.

Wedding at Tribeca Rooftop with Michelle and Joel | Highlight Reel

Wedding at Tribeca Rooftop with Michelle and Joel | Highlight Reel

We enjoyed filming this wedding in New York very much. Michelle started at getting ready at the Soho Grand Hotel‎ in Manhattan while Joel started at a barber shop on Horatio Street in NYC as well. After preps we all met up at a beautiful church called “Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus‎” located in the city as well. After the ceremony we did an amazing creative session/photo shoot around the city with talented photographers Stak Photographer Duo. Feel free to check out Michelle and Joel on their blog.
The reception continued at one of my favorite NYC venues, Tribeca Rooftop.

So now this wedding was extra special to me personally (Adam Forgione) for one specific reason, It was on the same day I got married to my beautiful wife too, years earlier. Yes I shot this on my anniversary September 3, 2010. We all shared this special day together and of course I checked with my wife to see if she was ok that I filmed on this day. Michelle and Joel even made a point to call my wife in the evening during their reception to wish her a happy anniversary and to thank her for letting me shoot their day. Enjoy their highlight reel we created fro them.
