United Kingdom of Puerto Rico | Tribeca Rooftop Wedding
Zulema the bride is from Puerto Rico and Nick the groom is from The United Kingdom. They met at Sean Kelly Art Gallery in New York City while Nick was visiting from the UK. Nick noticed Zulema starring at a painting and he walked up behind her and said “Don’t be deceived, Some things aren’t what they seem at first glance.” He was talking specifically about the fact that you could see an artists name appear on the painting if you stepped back far enough to look at the big picture.
Their wedding day started out at the prestigious Trump Soho Hotel in New York City along with their bridal party getting ready with them. Zulema introduces us to her custom iphone app developed specifically for her wedding. It allows her guests follow the updates of their wedding throughout the day. The very rare Tea & Sympathy Black London Taxi Cab was awaiting Zulema as she came downstairs from the hotel and headed to an alleyway in Tribeca for the first look.
The sunset ceremony on the top of Tribeca Rooftop gave the guests a beautiful panoramic view of the Manhattan as they waited for the girl in the white dress to walk the aisle. Zulema and Nick wrote their very own personal vows which you can hear part of in this vignette of their wedding.
Zulema and Nick took great care in planning every detail of this wonderful event along side their favorite wedding planner Tamra and associates from Ever Swoon. They chose award winning photographer Anthony Vazquez to make sure their stills were nothing less than perfect and entertainment provided by Hank Lane’s Michael Hart Band.

Staten Island
This is a 6 minute excerpt from Tara and Jason’s full wedding film.
There is a certain feel when we do Staten Island wedding stories unlike any other place in New York. What I can say about families that live here is that they are so real. Nothing holds back anyone from saying anything and we admire that so much. We love when characters in the wedding are outspoken and speak a lot. It gives us so many choices for voice over to tell the story in a real way. Tara and Jason’s church was at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Staten Island and their reception took place at The Palace At Somerset Park, New Jersey.
When we ask the groomsmen to do something unique during the preparations, it always gives us a better story line to follow and usually loosen everyone up for the camera. In this wedding, they needed to pick up some supplies at the liquor store because…why not? We arranged someone close to the B&G to deliver the cards back and forth because they only lived about 10 minutes away from each other.
Special thanks to good friend Dave Venturini for helping out as guest filmmaker and of course always a pleasure to work with our close friends at Ricky Restiano Photography…great to see you again Anthony.
Please enjoy and don’t be too upset at the end, we mean well…really!
Tribeca Rooftop Wedding in New York
Wedding at Tribeca Rooftop in New York. Christin and Adam’s entire day took place at Tribeca Rooftop in Manhattan. We finally got to work along side talented NY wedding photographer Danny Weiss and he was great. We had a very trendy creative session on the cobble stone streets of New York City right outside the venue. Earlier in the day, the bridesmaids encountered a 2 celebrity singers and even asked them to join the wedding.
After the dress was on, Christin was ready to rock and roll for her first look. The moment was amazing and emotional as hoped and even more emotions followed as we experienced their beautiful ceremony held in the main loft area of the venue. The cocktail hour took place on the roof right about sunset and wow, how beautiful this place is especially at magic hour. I couldn’t resist stealing the bride and groom for a perfect moment as the sun was setting during their cocktail hour (as you will see on the last hot of the highlight reel below). The reception was a non-stop party atmosphere that was rocked by the Hank Lane Band. They will be getting a 20-25 minute full feature film in the future which is not a wedding video at all, its a cinematic and emotional experience, but for now, sit back and enjoy this short wedding highlight reel from Pennylane Productions.
