Winter Wedding Wonderland | Wedding Trailer

Winter Wedding Story

When Ashley planned her winter wedding for mid December 2016, the one wish she made was for snow. Not the blizzard kind, but something that would coat the day like a winter wonderland…well someone was listening because she got her wish with the first snow of the year. The bride does admit she did have a little freakout the morning of, envisioning 12 inches of snow but her dad calmed her down to reality right away letting her know it would only be an inch.

Ashley and Zach met on Thanksgiving Eve and they had one of those instant connections. You know, the ones where you just know its something special. In the bride’s own words she explains, “I automatically felt like he was home…and I didn’t even know him.” From Zach’s perspective, one thing is obvious just watching this wedding trailer, his emotions and feelings for Ashley genuinely show as he loses it during the first look and ceremony vows.

Ashley and Zach planned their wedding to take place at The Village Club at Lake Success, New York. This is one of the most elegant venues on Long Island to get married at. In addition we got to work with one of our photographer friends Anthony Vazquez and his talented team once again. Also another treat was working with the bride and groom’s band the Dane Wright Band, whose band promo we recently produced only 2 months earlier for their agency Hank Lane.

Wedding Trailer | Welcome to the Hamptons

Mariel and Jamie love the Hamptons. So it’s no surprise that they would plan the most important day of their lives to take place here. Ironically, one of Mariel’s close family friends recently bought a beautiful horse farm in the Hamptons and Mariel’s dad happen to see it. Once he saw the staircase, he said “Mariel is going to get married here one day.” Fast forward to their engagement party, that same family friend surprised the bride and groom by offering the home for their wedding location. Of course they said “yes.” The weekend started off at Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club for their rehearsal dinner followed by a beautiful bonfire on the beach after dessert. The next day was the big day. The ceremony took place right next to the reception tent during sunset followed by an outdoor cocktail hour. The reception was decorated like a dream wedding featuring all-star entertainment by Marianne Bennett Productions. We had the pleasure of working with talented photographer Ira Lippke and his team of Ira Lippke Studios as well as the mastermind behind all the planning Sofia Crokos and her team at Sofia Crokos Events. Wedding Teaser at Tribeca Rooftop | New York City

The Story

Their are certain milestones in your life that stand out above others. Getting married, having a child and graduating from a good school are a few of the biggest. These accomplishments can often be as stressful as they are satisfying. People recommend you space these major events out, but Casey and Ehren are doing them all at the same time.

When the couple found out Casey was pregnant they had under 4 months to plan an entire wedding. That’s the kind of pressure that freezes a lot of people. But, with the help of their family and friends they not only pulled it together, they did it with style.

The most impressive thing about the whole day was just how relaxed Casey and Ehren were. They were positive, always had a smile on their faces and never stressed.

Casey and Ehren had their wedding at Tribeca Rooftop. This New York wedding venue is one of our favorites and has stunning views of the city. Casey and Ehren took full advantage of the venue. Saying their vows at sunset with the Freedom Tower and lower Manhattan skyline as a backdrop.

One of the things most important to the father of the bride was getting some killer drone footage. Anyone that flies drones knows that NYC is about the most daring place to fly a drone so we brought in Daniel Herbert from SkyGear Solutions who did an amazing job.

Katy and Daniel didn’t choose The Pierre Hotel just for the classic setting and beautiful ballroom. The venue is very special to the couple because Katy’s grandparents were married there 70 years ago. It’s rare that you can find this kind of emotional attachment to a place and we knew we had to make it the intro to their story.
We also had the pleasure of working with a team of awesome professionals. Justin from Brian Dorsey Photography, Michael Hart Band from Hank Lane Music and planner Brett Cameron were all great creative partners on the day.
At the reception that night we noticed two of the toasts talked heavily about life working out differently than expected. This wasn’t a narrative we had planned going into the wedding, but it became clear that it was a big part of Katy and Daniel’s story. We used this idea as the backbone of the teaser and it even provided the title of the film. We hope you enjoy The Stuff of Life.

Four White Dresses

Alessandra and Mario are a couple with deep ties to the wedding industry. Alessandra’s grandmother came to America from Italy and founded a dress shop called Mariella Creations. The shop, named after Alessandra’s mother, is now run by Mariella herself. They help create some of the best designed dresses in the country.

Growing up in the business, the bride saw many dress showcases with some of the most talented designers in the world. She knew from a very young age that she wanted her favorite designer, Lazaro, to create a dress for her on her wedding day. So, she had him make two.

We were stunned and excited to learn that Alessandra and Mario suggested their sisters be dressed in white gowns as well. Anyone that knows tradition knows that this is a very rare occurrence in weddings, but we thought it was amazing. We’ll always be suckers for something different and Alessandra and Mario delivered.

First Day at Syracuse

Jaclyn and Asher had an interesting idea for their first look. Obviously, the groom not seeing the bride’s dress is nothing new, but Asher didn’t think that was fair. On a trip to Hong Kong Asher had a tuxedo custom made and decided Jaclyn wouldn’t be allowed to see it until he saw the dress. Seems fair.

On our pre-wedding phone call Jaclyn and Asher let us know that the ceremony was very important to them. One of the biggest parts of that were the personalized vows they were going to recite. When we know a couple is doing this we always ask to film them writing out the vows. The couple even had custom notebooks just for this purpose.
