Wedding at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida

Wedding at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.

“All This Time” by OneRepublic licensed by Song Freedom
Michelle and Justin’s wedding as literally a dream. We flew down and filmed their rehearsal dinner the night before which gave us the idea of using certain stories from the speeches in their Same Day Edit which happened the next night during their real wedding. When you watch this SDE you have to check out the cake, it was mind blowing. Sylvia Weinstock flew down personally to deliver this magnificent piece of artwork and I had the pleasure of meeting her. Michelle and Justin couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, it had a subtle breeze that made you want to stay their forever. This was our first time at The Breakers in Palm Beach and it exceeded my expectations, this place is a utopia. We also had the pleasure of working with an amazing team of event planners from Zanadu Group based down here in Florida. Cheryl and Dale were amazing to work with and helped me with every detail I needed, top act! Michelle and Kym at The Breakers were just as helpful making sure we knew everything happening at every point. I wish it was like this all the time, wow. My good friend and celebrity photographer Anthony Vazquez shot the stunning photography for this wedding. Anthony had flown directly from WPPI (an international photography convention) in Las Vegas where he as honored with the prestigiuous THE NEXT award, so Michelle and Justin had certainly picked the perfect photographer for their wedding. Michelle and Justin were a very fun couple to work with. You can check out their photographer’s slide show here and also their blog post here. We had the pleasure of shooting a cool concept months earlier where they did an E-Shoot with Anthony Vazquez and had a sick champagne fight. Yep, this is the same couple. Be sure to check out Anthony Vazquez’s blog for Michelle and Justin’s amazing pics as well. You can also folow the story of this bride and groom at The Breakers own blog here. To top it off the live entertainment was off the hook. Marcia Mitchell Band rocked the party all night long, one of the best bands I’ve ever heard.

UPDATE : Honored to have this clip and Michelle and Justin’s story on The Breakers Blog here

New York Wedding at Hamlet Willow Creek Golf & Country Club | Wedding Video

New York Wedding at Hamlet Willow Creek Golf & Country Club | Wedding Highlight of Michelle and Miguel

We opened this film in Port Jefferson Station, New York where the bride was getting ready. It was a slightly windy day but we still though the dress would look nice blowing in the breeze right outside the house. Later on at the bride prep, good friend and talented photographer Doug Gordon, owner of Patken Photograhy Studios showed up to grab his shots as well. Doug is well known internationally for his trademark flow posing and educational resources that he presents around the country every year.

Following the bride’s house we headed to the church right down the block called Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Port Jefferson. Usually its tricky shooting in this church because of restrictions to the cinematographers, but because we shoot all Canon DSLR, we were extremely discreet with small cameras so we were able to get better positions during the ceremony.

My favorite part of the day was next, Doug and us brought the bride downtown to the port and walked around having fun with the scenery. It was getting close to golden hour (or as we refer to it as magic hour) where the sun is starting to set for the day. The beautiful amber tones are breathtaking for any artist at this time of day. We must have hit 10 different spots in town including having the bride and groom do their first dance in the middle of the Main street intersection.

The Reception followed in Mt. Sinai at Hamlet Willow Creek Golf & Country Club. The backdrop here is beauiful where they hold a wonderful golf course on site. It’s always nice to see Barbara, the catering manager, at Hamlet. She is passionate about making sure everything is perfect for every couple.
