“I Always Wanted A Castle Wedding”
It’s the first thing we learned about Janine when we talked to her about her day. She found a beautiful one in West Orange, New Jersey. It’s called the Pleasantdale Chateau and it was one of the most gorgeous venues we have ever seen. Fun bit of trivia it’s also where the famous pool scene in the movie “Cocoon” was shot back in 1985.
The ceremony took place off the castle grounds in a church near by called Our Lady of Sorrows in South Orange, New Jersey. One of our favorite scenes in the highlight film was watching Janine’s father wipe a tear while walking her down the aisle. When we got back to the castle its was creative session time along with Barbara from Anthony Vazquez Photography.
Many of our couples know that we encourage off-the-wall activities, from either the bride or groom, so we were very happy to catch the Groomsmen playing football on the grounds after the ceremony.
The reception party was entertained by a great live band Michael Hart from Hank Lane.
