The New York blizzard of 2013 planned for its arrival on the exact day Kerri and Brian decided to tie the knot. The Long Island expressway was closed and people we’re waking up to almost 30″ of snow but that didn’t stop any of us from getting Kerri and Brian to the church. As the girls rushed around to get ready, Brian and the guys decided to get a little workout with a snowball fight to start the morning. The drinks started early that day to lighten the mood and everyone had smiles on this historic day.

As always it was a pleasure to work with Sherwood Triart Photography and off to St Dominic’s Church in Oyster Bay we went. The ceremony started almost an hour behind due to the travel conditions but believe it or not, there were many guests who made it out to this beautiful affair. You can clearly see the emotions during their vows as they both tried to maintain their composures. After the ceremony, the trolly was escorted by highway patrol to the Suffolk County line.

The reception took place at The Bourne Mansion in Oakdale, New York where the guests were greeted into cocktail hour and the last destination had been reached. We played our very last same day edit at Kerri and Brian’s reception as they both got emotional watching their story unfolding from hours ago.
