I love New York City weddings. There is an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the world. This time the reception took place at St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan. Meet Lauren and Chris, two of the nicest people you will ever know. Chris’ dad also happens to be the florist for the event. He told me his dad was probably stressing out the morning of the wedding because he wanted everything to go perfect.

Lauren and Chris both got ready at the hotel before heading off to their ceremony at St. Ignatius Loyola Church on Park Ave. St. Ignatius Church is probably the most beautiful church to film a wedding at in New York City in my opinion. Lauren explains how she introduced Chris to Christian Louboutin shoes for men. At first he was against it, till he saw them in person. I think Chris may be the first groom we’ve had with Christian Louboutin shoes.

They decided to do a first look before their ceremony, which is very rare for church weddings because first looks are usually scheduled when you are getting married all at the same place. This gave us some extra time before the ceremony to get creative with the bride and groom. We had the pleasure of working with fellow photographer Chris from Brett Matthews Photography.
