This story begins 39 years ago when Rachel’s parents met at Oheka Castle during camp and started their lives together. On August 16, 2014 the circle is complete as their daughter marries her best friend at the very same place.
As soon as we arrived to film the morning of, we immediately heard about this special cake designed in the shape of CitiField Stadium that was given to the groom by his bride the night before. It would only make sense to watch the guys devour it first thing in the morning.
A horse and buggy carrying Rachel arrives at sundown as the ceremony begins on Oheka’s grounds. Planning along with the family, we knew the ceremony would be completely dark by the end of the service so we provided proper lighting decor as the night sky revealed itself.
We got to work with an old friend and photographer Rocco from Camelot Studios. Always a pleasure to collaborate on creative shooting with great artists.
